June 4-July 18, "IT'S FAIR TIME!" EXPO. Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center, 4596 US Highway 20 East, Freeport. 8 am to 8 pm. Celebrate the upcoming Stephenson County Fair which will be held July 13-18, an old-fashioned, fun filled event that is a local tradition. This Expo will give a little "taste" of what to expect including an animal display, a grain and food display, a popcorn wagon, kids games, and information about the fair. On June 5, from 11 am to 1 pm, 4-H kids will be at the Center with a variety of small animals (bunnies, poultry, and goats) and 4-H projects.
